Answers about remusic — formats, backup and restore, downloads, playback controls, and getting help when something doesn't behave. The bench stays open.

Which formats can remusic play?
remusic plays your on-device library with native decoders powered by the mpv media engine: MP3, FLAC, AAC, Opus, WAV and more. Albums play gapless, so live records and DJ mixes keep their seams.
Does it work without internet?
Yes. Everything in your local library (songs, playlists, favorites) plays fully offline. Network is only needed for streaming and downloads, and download quality is up to you.
How do I back up my library?
remusic can save your playlists, favorites and listening history into a single backup file from the backup section of the app. Restore it on a new phone or after a reinstall and everything comes back — you never start over.
Where do my downloads go?
Finished downloads appear in your Library under Downloads. The download manager shows progress in your notifications, and you can pause, resume or retry any transfer.
How do I slow a song down to learn it?
Two tools: speed & pitch are independent (slow the track without dropping its key), and the A-B loop repeats any passage you mark. With synced lyrics in karaoke view, it's a full practice rig for singers and musicians.
Does music keep playing when I close the app?
Yes: background playback keeps going when you leave or swipe the app away, with full lock-screen and notification controls, headphone and Bluetooth button support, and a slide-to-skip mini player. A sleep timer can fade your night out.
What are scenes?
A scene is a preset that bundles equalizer, effects, speed, crossfade, volume and visualizer into one switch: Night, Car, Gym, Coding, Flight, Party, Sleep are built in, and you can make your own.
What data does remusic collect?
Nothing on our side. Your library, listening history, favorites, playlists and settings live only on your device, and the App contains no analytics, advertising or tracking SDKs. The full picture is in the privacy policy.
Is remusic really free?
Yes: free, ad-light, no account, no paywall. Your files stay yours.
